About Dan
Dan Knisley was born in Columbus, Ohio, and has devoted his career to advocating for individuals in workers’ compensation and personal injury cases. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from Hanover College in 1974 before proudly serving his country as a United States Marine.
In 1976, Dan joined the Marine Corps and earned his wings as a fighter pilot in 1978. He was stationed in Beaufort, South Carolina, where he flew F-4 Phantoms with VMFA-333. After completing his service in 1982, Dan continued his commitment to excellence by pursuing a law degree at Ohio Northern University, graduating with his Juris Doctor in 1985. The following year, he was admitted to the Ohio State Bar, and in 1987, to the Federal Bar. He also served with distinction in the Air National Guard at Rickenbacker Air Force Base.
As an attorney, Dan has focused his practice on workers’ compensation and personal injury law, representing injured workers and accident victims across Ohio. He has dedicated his legal career to helping clients secure medical treatment, wage replacement, and fair compensation when their livelihoods and futures are at stake. Drawing on the discipline and determination instilled during his years of military service, Dan approaches every case with focus, resilience, and a deep sense of duty to those he represents.
