Learn More About Doug
Doug Knisley was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, and has been practicing law for more than four decades. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Miami University in 1979 and his Juris Doctor from Capital University in 1982. That same year, he was admitted to the Ohio State Bar, followed by admission to the Federal Bar in 1983.
Doug has dedicated his career to representing injured workers in workers’ compensation cases. With his extensive knowledge and decades of experience, he has helped countless clients secure the medical treatment, wage replacement, and benefits they are entitled to. Doug is known for his steady, compassionate approach, guiding workers and their families through the challenges that follow a workplace injury with patience, skill, and determination.

Outside of his legal practice, Doug has been a dedicated member of his community. He was active in Upper Arlington Youth Sports Programs and volunteered for many years as a freshman football coach at Upper Arlington High School, mentoring young athletes and giving back to the next generation.

Doug is also a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association. His lifelong dedication to the law, his community, and his clients reflects the same values he brings to every case: commitment, perseverance, and care for the people he serves.

"After more than four decades of representing injured workers, my commitment remains the same as day one: every worker deserves someone in their corner who will fight for the benefits and treatment they've earned."
